About Doon Internation School (DIS) Riverside

Doon International Education Society was established by Mr. D. S. Mann, the Founding Chairman, in the year 1993 with a vision to provide affordable quality education. Mrs. M. S. Mann took it upon herself to give practical shape to this ambitious undertaking by heading Doon International School, Dehra Dun as its Founding Principal.

A student's school years prove decisive in shaping their future development. Recognizing this the school is deeply committed to providing the children with a stimulating and positive environment that facilitates the development of the children into capable, confident and responsible individuals who are equipped with essential skills to establish their place in society.

Our governance structure is The Board of Governors. The Board of Governors is responsible for laying down the Vision and Mission statement and formulating the broad policy framework for achieving the same. The Board of Governors is also responsible for conducting annual performance reviews of the school’s performance.
